My work is a reflection of the collision of three trainings: milliner, jewelry artist/goldsmith, and theater, film, and media studies. They enrich and influence each other and enable new and innovative approaches to the subject of jewelry, which need not be limited to the hands, ears, and neck, but extends to headdresses.
When making jewelry, I attach great importance to the use of fairly produced precious metals:
Some of the jewelry is made from scrap gold that we melt down ourselves. The other part comes from the company ÖGUSSA, which offers certified gold from recycled stocks.
I only purchase gemstones from sources with whom I have been working for years and whom I trust.
