DISH TENNIS

DISH TENNIS was born as a tournament event in 2012 as a kind of "crazy idea" in the unisex toilets of a local pub in Vienna. The event became a cult, portrayed by various media and even on two TV shows in Austria and Germany. Our tournaments with presenters, DJs, referees and cheerleaders were so popular that we were suddenly being booked by companies as a side event for hundreds of events as part of incentives, seminars and workshops.
Table production was initially of secondary importance, but has been improved more and more year after year. This is how DISH TENNIS has made the leap from being a cheeky lifestyle label for parties, festivals and pop-up stores to being a reliable business partner.
Our claim “The remix of table tennis” is based on the idea of ​​reviving the classic “table tennis”, but what is new is that we can do this in the smallest possible space.
As a small startup, we are proud to continue to produce regionally at a high level and are therefore in line with the spirit of #supportyourlocal. The next step is clearly towards Europe-wide distribution.

What motivated you to become a designer?

Since I got the wish,
To optimally combine form and function.

How can one imagine your studio/workshop?

My production is a Tyrolean large carpentry company with 60 employees
